Today's Gospel is about Jesus curing a paralytic, who was lowered through the roof of the house Jesus was teaching in. Pharisees and teachers of the law witnessed Jesus forgiving the paralytic's sins and challenged Jesus, "who but God alone can forgive sins?" Jesus responded simply and wisely and everyone was astonished, glorifying God.
